Prayer times are incorrect, what should I do?

Prayer times are calculated from your GPS location. If they look wrong:

  1. Open App → Settings → Location and verify your current city
  2. Ensure your phone's Time Zone is set correctly
  3. Grant location permission as "Always" (not just "While using")
  4. Choose the calculation method appropriate for your country (Diyanet, Muslim World League, ISNA, Umm Al-Qura, etc.)

I'm not receiving notifications

Notification issues on Android and iOS are usually related to battery optimization:

The qibla compass isn't working correctly

The qibla compass uses your phone's magnetometer. For it to work properly:

  1. Don't rest your phone flat on metal surfaces or near wireless chargers
  2. Move your phone in a figure-8 motion to calibrate the compass
  3. Stay away from metal objects, magnets, and electronic devices
  4. Make sure "Location" is enabled on the qibla screen

How do I cancel Premium?

When cancelled, premium features remain available until the end of the current billing period. For refunds, consult Apple/Google's refund policies.

I got a new device, how do I restore Premium?

On a device signed in with the same Apple ID / Google account, go to Settings → Premium and tap "Restore Purchases". Your subscription will be recognized automatically.

My khatm progress disappeared, can I recover it?

Khatm data is stored only on your device (no cloud backup). Uninstalling the app or resetting your phone clears this progress. This is a conscious privacy choice — however, we plan to add optional iCloud/Google Drive backup in future releases.

How do I switch to dark theme / gold theme?

Home → Themes card. Pick your favourite from the list. 3 themes are free, 10 themes are Premium-exclusive.

Is Kurdish supported?

Yes. Settings → Language → Kurdî (Kurmancî). The app supports 4 languages: Turkish, English, Kurdish, and Arabic.
